jr+sons is a rock band.

Rock and Roll luminary B.P. Fallon called Junior and Sons' music "Contagious pure pop for now people with harmonies like The Beach Boys on a bender." (We think that was a compliment.)

The band is:
John Connell (Kings County Queens), Chuck Dean and Todd Kovner .

News:
(updated July 7th, 2008)

We'll be at the Trash Bar in Williamsburg on Friday, July 11th at 11pm. The really good news? There's an open bar from 8pm-9pm, so get there early!

Junior and Sons have been busy finishing the recording of three brand new songs. The songs are: Iceberg, Cheerless and Landlocked. They're the first three songs from the forthcoming record. We're doing it all ourselves right now, but have graduated from cassettes to hard drives. We think they sound pretty good so far. The songs can be found on our updated music page.

We're booking shows now and will let those of you on the list know what's up as soon as we do. Looking forward to a great year. Along with the three songs we've recorded, we have been extra busy writing new material, and have about a dozen new songs on top of these.

"Watch Things Fall" is still being played on Radio Indie Pop! Go check it out...now!
